Austin Healey: Sprite Roadster 1967 austin healey 1275 sprite one owner survivor stored in s carolina since 82
SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE VINTAGE CAR PARTS AND ACCESSORIES Further cleanout of surplus vintage cars and parts: This is a no reserve auction and the Sprite will be sold regardless of price, on or off auction. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This particular auction is for an original authentic, excellent running and driving, matching numbers, vintage 1967 Austin Healey Sprite roadster in it's original colors as shown. It is NOT a typical run of the mill clapped out Sprite or one that has had years of sins covered over by a "restoration". It is an honest unmolested original survivor. 1967 is a desirable year model partially because of the robust and dependable 1275 engine and ribbed case transmission. Includes a British Motors Heritage Certificate authenticating it's matching numbers. It was sold new to a lady in Charleston South Carolina and has stayed in the same family since 1967. She had the engine professionally rebuilt in 1982 and drove it for less than 200 miles, whereupon it was parked ...

Austin Healey: 3000 3000 MKIII PhII BJ8 1966 austin healey 3000 mkiii phii bj 8
This Healey 3000 is the automotive artwork that I completed this past season. Several months were spent finishing this long term restoration that has been off the road for many years. It has become an automotive sculpture, as a new and fresh Austin-Healey 3000 MK III PHII BJ8; right from my showroom... ready for your living room! The last of the 3000 series, the MKIII PHII BJ8 model represents one of the most sought-after and collectible of all the classic British Sports-Cars. Its legacy in the rallies of the 60's created a legend that lives on in the high price that the final of the "Big Healeys" command. The BJ8's are the most luxurious, weather tight, and powerful of all the Austin-Healeys. They have steadily increased in value since the 60's and continue to do so. This would be a great investment vehicle for someone with a passion for classic sports cars who wants a well sorted out car, but not have to do all the work to get it there... There are several levels of Healeys currently ...

Austin Healey: 3000 Black Austin Healey 3000 MK III BJ8
1965 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 MK III BJ8: This is a single family heirloom. My father, a Naval officer, was posted with the US European Command near Paris when he purchased this car in June 1965. During its first six months my parents, along with my brother and sister (I was yet to be born) drove the Healey top down all over Europe from Bavarian beer halls to camping in Belgium. They had ordered the car with the optional luggage rack to accommodate such outings. In 1967 Dad was transferred back to the States and the beloved Austin Healey came with us. In 1969, three months after mom got pregnant with me, we lost Dad in Vietnam. Mom continued to drive the car throughout her pregnancy with me and I have memories as a toddler riding in the car and hearing the distinctive sound of the roar of its engine. Incredibly, mom hung onto the car allowing my older brother Mark to drive it when he was in high school and yes, we still took the car camping, only now it was in the Colorado Rockies. While I was ...

Austin Healey: 3000 BJ7 Heritage Trust Certificate 1963 austin healey 3000 original black with red matching number bj 7
This 1963 Austin Healey 3000 Is Located In Northfield, NJ 08225 *** Not in Lumberton, NJ *** I am listing this for my friend who has owned this Austin Healey for 16 years. An owner of several other classic cars, he has driven this Healey approximately 16,700 miles. It has been well maintained, garaged and serviced properly. There are no known mechanical issues, she runs great and drives beautifully. This Austin Healey was freshened up prior to my friend's ownership. The black paint work(original color) and most of the chrome was done prior to his purchase. Very, very, nice, but not perfect. I did not notice anything major, but I'm sure there are some small scratches, rub marks and a couple little dents. This is a good running driver, that you can take anywhere. Some of the work he performed as follows: the gearbox and overdrive was professionally rebuilt about 12,000 miles ago. A newer convertible top installed (2 years), a stainless steel exhaust system was added, the carburetors were ...

Austin Healey: Sprite Silver Austin Healey Sprite
I bought this car back in 1998 and finished restoration in 1999. It was a started resto project and the car had all new floor pans, rocker panels and rear quarters welded on and the whole thing was dipped. My goal was to build this car into a reliable “driver” while keeping with an A-series engine. When I put this car together, every part was sandblasted and epoxy painted. In addition a stiffener plate was welded to the front of the frame to add additional rigidity for the front sway bar. Below is a list of improvements: 1275 A series built by Pat Morrison (builds nascar engines now) rebuilt ported head- hotter cam 5-speed Datsun 210 gearbox conversion only 3k miles on it Custom One wire Alternator Hotter sport ignition coil Original magnesium made in England Cosmic racing rims-brought over from England 390 rear end gears Carrera racing gas shock conversion on front and rear Front Sway bar Rebuilt front suspension and steering Stiffer aftermarket front coil springs Weber two barrel downdraft ...

This car was built in 1999 in Fargo ND by Classic Roadsters and shipped to Greenwich Ct. where it spent almost 7 years in a dry garage after the owner passed away. I bought it from the widow about 1 1/2 years ago, and spent a good part of a year getting title to it as there was an estate issue that held things up. At the same time I was planning my relocation down here and have used and enjoyed this vehicle sparingly. I have been busy renovating my home here and have had very little ...
