1971 MG MGB MGB-GT, California survivor, two owners, never repainted, rare color

1971 MG MGB MGB-GT, California survivor, two owners, never repainted, rare color

I'd describe this car as daily driver quality. Not perfect, but presentable, indeed, I've entered it in local shows. It was the original owner's only car for a number of years and so has myriad little scuffs, thin spots on the paint, dings and wrinkles. Cosmetically, it's exactly as it was when I bought it from her, retaining its original "Bedouin" paint and Lucas headlamps. I see no evidence of any serious accidents, the paint matches well with no evidence of a respray. When I bought the car the front suspension was in a parlous state so I rebuilt it completely, to stock specs, lever arm dampers and all. I also replaced the rear dampers. I found that the original cylinder head had cracked and been welded at some point and that weld failed, so I installed a brand new cylinder head. I used an earlier style head without ports for air injection as the smog pump and air injection rail had been removed (though I still have them). Mechanically the two most serious issues are a thirst for oil, ...

1974 MG MGB 1974 MGB Roadster / Factory Overdrive

1974 Chrome bumper MGB Roadster. This car is a zero rust all original panel car. I've owned this car for 17 years and the previous owner for nearly as long. I believe I am the third owner. This car has always been stored inside and driven in fair weather. The car was repainted at some point before I bought it. It is a cinnamon color. The original color is MG burgundy red and can be seen in the engine compartment and trunk. The car needs to be painted and the nicks and minor imperfections repaired but present itself extremely well as it is. Shortly after I purchased the car I installed a factory Overdrive Transmission. The interior is new with the exception of the seats. It has a new canvas top installed on the quick fold down frame. I have the standard frame also. Included is a Tonneau cover and fold down top Boot cover and a cotton car cover that is in fair condition. The car runs great with approximately 75,000 miles on the car since new. When I installed the overdrive I had to change ...

1957 MG MGA 1957 solid slightly modified MGA

1957 MG, MGA in pearl blue and white Up for auction is this very clean and beautiful slightly modified NAMGAR registered MGA. Here is the history that I have on the car. The previous owner had this car ever since the 1960s. He began restoring the car and acquiring parts. This process went on through many years until because of health issues, he decided to sell the car in 2015. The car was in its final stage of restoration. I have to say I have had many MGAs and this one is an extremely tight and solid car. There are so many new parts and interesting features that it will take a rather long list to completely describe the condition of this car. Please read through it, and ask any questions you may have. iHere is the list of work and parts:The engine was completely rebuilt and has around 1500 miles on it. Engine parts are as follows.Piston set .20Main bearing set .30Rod bearing set .30Thrust washer setHigh performance cam.LiftersTiming chainTiming chain tensionerCam sprocketCrank sprocketOil ...

1972 MG Midget 1972 MG Midget

Up for auction is a 1972 MG Midget. While not a concourse restoration, it is a great example of an excellent driver. The car was restored by a previous owner. The floors appear to have been replaced, the car painted, and a really nice cloth top (which is still in great shape) was installed. The following items have been replaced since I purchased the car last year: New fuel tank New fuel pump New fuel filter New battery New front arms, fulcrum pins, and swivel pins New steering tie-rod ends Rebuilt shocks from World Wide Auto Parts New rear shock links New tires New cooling system hoses New brake hoses New rear wheel cylinders New clutch slave cylinder New clutch master cylinder New bushings New points New cap, rotor, plug wires, and plugs The car has a clear TX title in my name and is ready to be driven by the next owner. A non-refundable $250 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction close and full payment is due within 7 days of auction close. I will accept a cashier's check or cash. ...

1973 MG Midget 1973 MG Midget MKIII

This 2 owner car is in excellent mechanical condition. I purchased the car in 1989 and have driven it approximately 2,000 miles. Twice a month the car is driven ten miles on country roads close to my home. You will be hard pressed to find a Midget that is more fun to drive. This Midget has new rear springs, brakes (drums, rotors, pads, shoes), clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder and radiator. Car is tagged Maryland historical. Buckle up the racing seat belts under the competition roll bar and you are ready for a joyful driving experience. The tuned exhaust growls nicely as you run through the gears. The car needs paint, a new top, and carpets. It is ready for your finishing touches.

1972 MG MGB GT 1972 MG MGB GT

1972 MG MGB GT. Great car but needs some work. Car appears to have been originally light beige but is now orange. Paint was done poorly and would need to be repainted. Car starts and runs and drives but needs a tune up. Runs rough and running way too rich I think. I bought car two years ago and thought I could restore this car but I don't know anything about British cars, where to get parts from at a decent price, and I just need space in the garage. Most everything appears to be original and in keeping with the way the car should be (although I am no expert on these cars). I accidentally cracked a fender light lens while pulling in another car and there are odds and ends all over that would need attention if this was going to be a true restoration--which when added up is too much for me to handle. Maybe one could make this a good parts car but it would seem like a shame since it is very complete and runs and drives. Wheels appear to have been powder coated and look really nice. Interior ...

. This is a 1971 MG Midget. It has the 1275cc motor in it. The car does no currently run. All itís needs is a new wiring harness and it will be good to go. The car comes with a spare tire and a brand new convertible still in the box never put on. The car has a bit of rust on the normal spots and it does have patch work on it which is holding up well. I have all the pieces I took off of the car. The engine and trans are in great condition and itís a fun little car to drive I just donít have the time to work on it anymore. With a little TLC the car will be running and will be a fun cruising car.

1979 MG Midget Original miles. Classic. California. Other.

1979 MG Midget Last year for the Midget One Owner 13,000 Original (documented) Miles You donít see too many classic cars in this condition, especially with 13,000 original miles. You can find cars in this condition for around $15,000 but, they usually have 50, 60 70,000 miles on the odometer. This car has also had over $5,000 in mechanical work i.e. over $3,000 to completely remove and reseal the motor. $2000 for a new clutch and pressure plate. Another several hundred on new rack and pinion gear, new brakes and more. (copy of receipts on request) This car has also just passed Californiaís STRICT smog test and is registered in California. I believe this car to be worth $20,000. The N.A.D.A. guide values these cars from $5,000 in rough condition to $21,000 in mint condition.Plus you would ad for low mikes. I would sell it now for $15,000 or a reasonable offer. This car is in Southern California and is available for inspection or test drive anytime. Questions please call Stuart at 909 239-619 ...

1973 MG MGB full custom restoration, restomod. Custom, hotrod, sports car, classic sports.

Not sure how to describe this car. I spent two years and over $15,000 in parts alone to update and restore this car. It drives perfect and everything works. Only selling due to personal reasons. We hate to see this car go. It's a pure joy to drive. and you'll see people giving the thumbs up, honking and shooting pics of you as you drive it!This car is very customized and yet still true to it's MGB heritage. It gets so much attention and ends up on KC car spotters on Facebook all the time! Upgraded just about everything to make it easier and more reliable for her. She loves it and we hate to sell it.Car was stripped to bare metal inside, out and underneath. New floors, new inner and outer rockers and new old stock front fenders and new hood. Very literally just about every nut, bolt washer and component is new. If not new, than fully rebuilt. If it was a problem on an MG, I updated it and it's much better and more functional than when it was new. It's essentially a new car, with most of ...

The vehicle is a good driver. Starts right up every time. Seats and all the glass have been replaced as well as new brakes and an electric distributor. The system is 12 volt with one optima yellow top which sits in the original battery tray under the rear seat. The car was in storage for 12 years before I found it. It didn't take much to get her back on the road. I have a couple boxes of misc parts like all the badging ect. I have the spare tire and jack. The trunk door and floor are solid. Please feel free to call me with any questions 310-980-5006 Michael .. On Apr-19-18 at 05:54:28 PDT, seller added the following information: The vehicle has "special edition" badging.. whatever that means...
