1964 Studebaker Hawk Gran Turisimo 1964 Studebaker Hawk - Gran Turisimo - - only 1,484 built - - less than 600 left

Up for sale near Sacramento CA is a rare 1964 Studebaker Hawk Gran Turisimo. Only 1,484 were built in 64, and 300 of those were exported. (Canada and Australia.) According to the Hawk Registry, it is likely that less than 600 of the 1964 models remain in the U.S. This cool looking car runs and drives, and turns heads everywhere it goes. The registration is current and the car is tagged in California through April of 2019. Power comes from the original 289 cubic inch Studebaker V8 (not a Ford) and shifting is done with a manual transmission. ("Three on the tree.") The overdrive works, effectively making this a 6-speed manual car! Almost every part of the brakes have been replaced, and there was a previous upgrade to power brakes. Other upgrades include electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, and a brand-new 12 volt GM alternator. This was purchased new on October 18, 1963 - we have the original purchase loan document. The payoff was completed on April 25, 1966. The payments were only $66.40 ...

1960 Studebaker Hawk 1960 Studebaker Hawk W COAST CAR STUNNING LOOKING #2 DRIVER

Absolutely Stunning and Restored 1960 Stude Hawk I have been having this beauty restored for the past two years and chose to do so as a strong number 2 car, not looking for show quality as I had to keep in mind this was not a Mercedes Gull Wing or a 63 Vette split window but a Studebaker. J Nevertheless I spared no dollars in making sure that all was done correctly so that the car became both a HEAD TURNER and EXTREMELY DEPENDABLE RIDE. I changed certain things to bring the car up to date such as adding power steering, all original, dual master brake cylinder with refill under the hood vs. under the car. Most of all, I wanted the car to be drivable in the summertime and not suffer from “vapor lock” when the gas lines overheat causing the problem as stated “ya can’t run on vapors”. I had installed a high end racing fuel system with controlled pressure that reroutes and cools any gas back into the tank which was not just updated but rebuilt. The gas is moved along by a quality electric gas ...

1963 Studebaker Daytona Super Lark R2 Supercharged 4 speed Hardtop Hot Rod 1963 Studebaker Super Lark R2 Avanti Supercharged 4 speed Hardtop Muscle Car

Overview Available for purchase is a rare 1963 Studebaker Lark Daytona Hardtop with the R2 Supercharged engine, 4-speed transmission, and the special “Super Lark” full-performance package option. Because of its drag strip performance and top speed, many consider this the first true muscle car. The full package option contains all of the high-performance options available from Studebaker in a single special order from the factory. There were only 110 Supercharged hardtops built by Studebaker in 1963. Of these, only nine (9) had the special Super Lark full-performance package and only six (6) had the 4-speed transmission. Of those, only three (3) were painted in the special order limited edition “Super Red” paint color. This particular car is one of the three (3) factory built high-performance cars. It is fully documented with the factory Production Order (shown below), factory Drive-Away Shipping form (shown at the bottom), and the Dealer Franchise Record. The serial number is 63V-34024. ...

Back up for sale - 1953 Studebaker Commander 2 dr coupe. 232 V8 engine. 3 on the tree manual transmission. Originally an Ivory Mist exterior color, now painted a bold red many years ago. 1956 Studebaker Sky Hawk ky Hawk

Sorry about canceling and relisting but I had to make a correction and this was the only way I knew how. Also, I added four new pictures. There were 3050 (I have seen other numbers reported) Sky Hawks made in 1956. I have not seen any estimates for the number of Sky Hawks that exist today. In other words, Sky Hawks are somewhat rare and only produced in 1956. In my opinion, it is the best-styled hardtop Hawk among the 1956-61 Hawks and the closest one to the clean lines of the Lowery 1953 coupe. It was Bob Bourke who was responsible for the Sky Hawks that had bold grilles, sculptured sides, two-tone colors, and no fins. I bought this Hawk about ten years ago from the second owner in California. This car was to be for my wife who no longer drives, hence, it is for sale. The Hawk has had an off-frame restoration. My objective was to make the car safe and reliable while maintaining the Studebaker image without being a purist. The frame was cleaned and painted with Por-15 and the undercarriage ...
